A product offered for pre-order is a product that is not yet in stock.
Excluding sales, temporary promotions, clearance operations, discounts, promotional codes or other special commercial operations, by placing a pre-order you are guaranteed to obtain the pre-ordered product at a price lower than or equal to the normal selling price of the same product once it is in stock.
IMPORTANT: Stated availability date
Unfortunately, we do not have any more precise information than the information shown:
- on the pre-order product page on our website;
- in the details of your order in your personal account on our website.
If the stated arrival date corresponds to a past month or the current month without any information about the exact day of arrival, this means that we have not yet received any further details and are awaiting an update from our supplier.
The availability date of pre-order products stated on our website is provided for information purposes by the manufacturer or distributor and is regularly updated (once a month).
Please bear in mind that a delay of several months (or even several years with some small manufacturers) remains the norm in our sector. The average delay is 6 months. We strongly recommend that you do not order a pre-order product for a particular occasion such as a birthday or Christmas. MYTH FACTORY cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for possible delays in the availability of the products concerned.
The product will be shipped as soon as it arrives in stock, when the European shops are supplied by the importer.
Due to their own logistical constraints, some manufacturers spread the delivery of the same product over periods that may extend over several months. The estimated delivery date stated on our website always represents the date on which the manufacturer expects to deliver the last units of the product concerned.
Please note that because they are manufactured in Asia, products are available in Asia and the USA 2 to 6 months before they become available in Europe. Videos and photos of the final products may therefore already be circulating online while these products are still awaiting delivery from the manufacturer for European customers.
Full payment and deposit
To secure the reservation of the products you want, you must pay for your pre-order when confirming your shopping cart (click the "Check Out" button).
You can also reserve your pre-order product by paying a deposit (option available until one month before the product arrives in stock).
To proceed in this way, click on the "Payment option" drop-down menu on the page of the product concerned and select the "Booking deposit" option. You will then be able to make your reservation by paying a deposit.
You can pay the balance of your order at any time by going to the "My balance payments" section of your personal account.
If you do not pay the balance spontaneously, payment of the balance of your order will be requested by email 15 days before the product arrives in stock.
You will then have 7 calendar days to make your payment.
Failure to meet this deadline will result in the cancellation of your order. Your deposit will not be refunded and will be used to cover the administrative costs incurred by MYTH FACTORY.
Failure to pay the balance may also result in the suspension of shipment of other available goods and the refusal of new pre-orders or orders until the situation has been regularised.
If you refuse to honour the contractual commitments relating to a pre-order, MYTH FACTORY may also cancel other pre-orders that are still in progress, in accordance with the cancellation conditions applicable to each of them.
Shipping / Order containing in-stock and pre-order products (and/or pre-order products paid in full and reserved by deposit)
Your order will be shipped when all the fully paid products it contains are available in stock. It is not possible to make a partial shipment of your products.
If your order contains reservation deposits for pre-order products, these are not taken into account when arranging the shipment of the other products.
Products reserved by deposit will be shipped after payment of the outstanding balance and the shipping costs relating to their shipment.
Automatic grouped shipping of several orders
When several of your orders are prepared for shipment at the same time because the products they contain arrive in stock simultaneously, all the products are automatically combined into a single shipment. No exception can be made to this rule.
A calculation of the shipping costs you have paid is then made within 2 business days following shipment. The difference is refunded to you in the form of a voucher. It is not possible to obtain a refund of shipping costs to your bank card, bank account or PayPal account.
Adding products to a previously registered order
Due to the conditions applied by our payment security partners, it is not possible to modify an existing order awaiting shipment in order to add one or more additional products.
Grouped shipping on request for several orders
When you request grouped shipping of several of your orders awaiting shipment for which shipping costs have already been paid, a calculation of the shipping costs is made within 48 hours of shipment. The difference is refunded to you in the form of a voucher.
It is not possible to obtain a refund of shipping costs to your bank card, bank account or PayPal account.
To avoid these procedures, we recommend that you instead use our grouped shipping system when paying for each order. This allows you to plan your grouped deliveries and only pay the shipping costs when the shipment is requested.
Pre-order cancellation
When you reserve a pre-order product, we do everything we can to ensure that this product is available to you when it reaches the market. In order to preserve our excellent relationships with our suppliers, we are unable to cancel the products that we reserve for you.
Consequently, any pre-order cancellation creates additional work and storage issues for us.
This is why deposits paid when making a reservation are not refunded if you cancel your pre-order.
Customers who have pre-ordered their product with full payment will be refunded the amount initially paid, less a non-refundable deposit of 15%.
MYTH FACTORY also reserves the right to:
- refuse any new order from customers who have failed to honour one or more pre-orders in the past;
- refuse any new shipment of goods pending payment of the balance of pre-ordered products reserved with a deposit and available in stock;
- cancel current pre-orders from customers who have failed to honour one or more pre-orders in the past.
We nevertheless accept a full refund of your payment, without any penalty, when the estimated delivery time (stated on the product page on our website when you placed your pre-order) is exceeded by more than six months, corresponding to the average manufacturer delivery delay observed in our sector (see the paragraph above concerning the stated availability date).
