This statue portrays Faramir during the charge on the orc-occupied city of Osgiliath in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. The Captain of Gondor is shown leaning forward in the saddle as he leads the assault, with his sword extended and his expression fixed in command. His Gondorian armour, chainmail and tassets are represented in a pose based on the movement and momentum of the charge.

The mounted composition focuses on the relationship between rider and horse, with the horse depicted at full stride. Faramir's likeness and battlefield expression reproduce the character's appearance during this decisive scene from the film trilogy.

The piece was digitally sculpted by Gary Hunt, and its grassy display base was physically sculpted by Shaun Bolton. It is a limited edition of 860 pieces and features hand-painted finishing, so minor variations may occur between individual statues.
