This Grendizer action figure is based on the Popy GA-37 toy released in 1976. It was produced to mark the 50th anniversary of Go Nagai's UFO Robot Grendizer series. Made of metal, it includes the emblematic Grendizer accessories: the Fulguropunch with firing system, the Asterohawk, the Cornofulgure and the Planitron missiles. The 12cm-long UFO Spazer ship and its Duke Fleed pilot are also included in the box. The UFO Spazer can be loaded with the robot action figure via an articulated tailgate. The anti-gravity cannon and green thrusters that came with the vintage version are also included, and can be attached to the back of the action figure.
